‘We have just returned home from a fantastic week camping at Ynys Môn A Mõr campsite on the west coast of Anglesey. It’s a beautiful peaceful location a few minutes from the coast, in a wildflower meadow. The owners were helpful and friendly, and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Our children (4 and 8) loved playing with the toys provided and the freedom to roam the site. The kitchen, toilet and shower facilities were all just what was needed. Easy to charge your phone in the kitchen. There’s even a tiny shop for essentials, including eggs from their chickens on site. It’s only a 10-15 minute walk along a quiet lane to the most beautiful beach, which we often had to ourselves. Highly recommend this campsite and we hope to be back!’

‘We spent 7 nights camping here with our two year old in late September. We found this campsite to be clean and comfortable, and the family who own it are welcoming and friendly. We loved the simplicity and tranquility of being surrounded by nature and enjoying the spectacular views over the sea and Holyhead everyday – our son particularly loved watching the lighthouse flashing towards the east. Also he loved playing on the campsite and picking blackberries in the woodland area. The kitchen area provided everything we needed. The wash facilities were clean and I particularly liked the fact there were eco-friendly products available to use. We were impressed that the water all fed into their reedbed. We had a fantastic time on Anglesey. We visited the lovely beaches and rockpools and enjoyed trips to Pili Palas, Plas Newydd house and gardens, melin Llynon, Holyhead mountain and breakwater country park and the Dingle nature reserve.’

Comments about this property We visited for 5 nights with our five and three year old boys. We were made to feel very welcome by Emma and Noel. The compost toilets and showers were kept lovely and clean and the kitchen facilities came in very handy! The campsite is very close to the beaches and the sunsets were amazing! We hope to visit again soon!
